Parkway South has had an active theatre program since the building opened in 1976. Several opportunities exist throughout the year for students who are interested in being involved in a number of capacities - as a student, as an actor, an improv artist, technician, director, philanthropy, or other activites that use theatre as a medium to play a positive role in our community and the world at large.  Below are the 5 main categories - however know that more specific and detailed information can be found throughout this website and on Google classroom (must be a Parkway gmail account holder to access these). Improv Program

 Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester to find new members. 

Fall Production

Auditions are held in August for November performances. Productions will be either a comedy or drama. 

Winter Production

On even Fall school years this production will be a musical (20-21, 22-23) Auditions are held in October for Feburary production dates. 

One Acts/Cabaret

The theatre department has student directed One Acts as well as MSHSAA and other One Act opportunities. In addition on musical years the department has a student lead Cabaret performance.


PSH Theatre is a  member of the International Thespian Society (Theatre Honor)  and participates in local, state, and national activies throughout the year. Students can earn membership throughout the year towards their lifelong induction & membership.
